Integrated Fire Technology South Africa expands its range of fire suppression solutions.

Integrated Fire Technology (IFT), formerly known as Fogmaker South Africa, has expanded its fire suppression offerings by adding QTEC fire suppression solutions to its portfolio. IFT secured exclusive distribution rights for QTEC’s low-pressure foam spray systems in Southern Africa, with sole distributorship in South Africa.

“While our company has built a strong reputation in fire detection and suppression for mobile equipment with our highly effective Fogmaker high-pressure water-mist system, the addition of QTEC broadens our product range,” said John Russell, Managing Director of IFT.

The decision to diversify the portfolio was driven by growing demand from customers for foam-based fire suppression systems beyond the traditional mobile equipment and enclosed space applications.

QTEC’s flexible and scalable system is designed for a wide range of fixed plant applications, including conveyor belts, diesel and oil storage tanks, and large mobile equipment such as draglines and excavators.

“This makes QTEC ideal for various industrial and commercial sectors, including mining, ports, harbors, processing plants, and general industry,” added Russell.
