Full Circle Lithium Corp. (FCL) has received Class A Fire Recognition from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for use in both the US and Canada.
This certification from the globally respected safety body marks a significant milestone for FCL, enabling entry into new markets across industrial, commercial, retail, military and government sectors.
FCL-X™, which has already made waves for its effectiveness against lithium-ion battery fires, is now certified for traditional combustibles such as wood, paper, textiles and plastics.
CEO Carlos Vicens called the achievement ‘a major inflection point’ and said it would unlock growth opportunities and wider commercial adoption.
The water-based FCL-X™ stands apart for its ability to penetrate lithium-ion cells, reduce thermal output, neutralise toxic off-gases like hydrogen fluoride, and prevent explosive hydrogen build-up – all without PFAS, or “forever chemicals”. It also boasts exceptionally low toxicity levels.
While UL’s recognition applies to Class A fires only, FCL is actively pursuing additional certifications related to lithium-ion battery fire suppression. The company is positioning itself as a next-generation leader in advanced firefighting solutions.
